My name is Jaekwan Park, and I am an artist exploring the fluid boundaries between art and reality through Walter Benjamin's concept of the Aura and the theory of Simulacra.

My work is rooted in Walter Benjamin's Aura, yet I conceptualize the Aura not as a physical entity but as a unique symbol within the realm of art. Within my pieces, the Aura transcends time and space, aiming to deeply engage the viewer's experience.

The theory of Simulacra signifies artistic creation in a world where reality and the virtual intertwine. Through this theory, my artwork portrays celebrities who cannot be encountered in the fusion of reality and the virtual, offering a new dimension of desire substitution and sensory experience.

In my creations, seemingly contradictory virtual entities generate new meanings through interaction with reality. Viewers become participants in an artistic journey transcending the boundaries between reality and the virtual. My work positions itself as part of an artistic exploration advancing towards the cutting edge of Walter Benjamin's philosophy of art and the pioneering horizon of Simulacra theory.
